About

Speciwomen is a global organization aiming to shift representation in the arts. We are a community of young womxn from all over the world representing each other through the means of exhibitions, print editions, publications, interviews, essays and new media. Our goal is to bring forward the work of artists by making space for new dialogues.

Philo Cohen started Speciwomen in 2015, aiming to foster safer and wider spaces for womxn and womxn-adjacent artists to be recognized and heard.

If you are interested in becoming part of our community, email us. We are based in Brooklyn, NY but conduct projects globally.
