The 2024-2025 Tanya Baker-Asad Scholarship for Palestinian Women Pursuing PhDs in Humanities and Social Sciences is now open for applications.

The Palestinian American Research Center is pleased to announce the establishment of the 2024-2025 Tanya Baker-Asad Scholarship, dedicated to supporting Palestinian women who aspire to pursue doctoral studies in the humanities and social sciences. This prestigious scholarship program is a testament to the late Tanya Baker-Asad's enduring commitment to academia, feminism, and the Palestinian cause.

Tanya Baker-Asad, an esteemed anthropologist, feminist, and unwavering advocate for justice, left an indelible mark through her research and dedication to improving the lives of women, particularly those residing in circumstances of adversity and political repression. This scholarship stands as a tribute to her legacy, generously established by her husband, Talal Asad.
